Panchase Bhanjyang is located on the Panchase Trekking route. This cute little village has lots of charm and gorgeous mountain views to go with it. A cobblestone walkway leads into the tiny village of stone teahouses. The area originally only had cow sheds, and cows and buffalo would graze nearby. Locals say that teahouses were built in the 80’s to accommodate travelers passing through the area.

Number of accommodations:
There are 7 teahouses in the area.
Our choice:
Happy Heart Hotel – This is probably the nicest and cleanest teahouse I’ve ever stayed in while trekking in Nepal. The bathrooms were so clean that I honestly couldn’t believe it. The rooms were cozy with a small area rug and shelf in some of the rooms. The beds were also comfy and warm compared to many teahouses. I also enjoyed talking to the didi who owns the place. She’s very cheeky and has a hilarious sense of humor.
Price of a Room:
600 rupees (about $6.00 USD) for a double room at a lodge.
Price of Veg Dal Bhat:
400 rupees (about $4.00 USD)
Electricity:
There is electricity with charging points in the room.
Toilet Situation:
There are a few squat toilets located outside. It’s a bit of a walk from the rooms and requires going downstairs at night. But they are the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen while trekking.
Shower:
Hot showers are available.

There is no Wifi.
